Terms & Conditions
Clear terms, no fine-print games. These conditions apply to every Total Solar quote, installation and warranty claim.

Last updated: August 2026
1. Quotes and pricing
Written quotes are valid for 30 days and are based on the roof, switchboard and meter details supplied or observed at the site assessment. If site conditions differ materially — for example asbestos, a non-compliant switchboard, tile breakage risk or extended cable runs — we will notify you in writing before any variation is charged.
2. Deposits and payment
A deposit confirms your installation slot and secures stock at quoted pricing. The balance is payable on completion of the installation, or as scheduled in your approved finance agreement. STC rebates are applied as an up-front discount on your invoice, and we claim them on your behalf.
3. Rebates and eligibility
Federal STC and state battery rebates are governed by the relevant scheme rules and are subject to change. We assess eligibility in good faith using the information you provide. If a scheme changes or your eligibility is refused for reasons outside our control, the rebate portion becomes payable by you.
4. Grid connection
We prepare and lodge your network application. Approvals, inverter capacity limits, export limits and metering changes are determined by your network operator and retailer. Timeframes for meter reconfiguration are set by your retailer and are outside our control.
5. Installation
All work is performed by SAA Accredited installers and licensed electricians. Installation dates are estimates and may shift due to weather, safety conditions or supply delays. Safe access to the roof, switchboard and a power point must be available on the day.
6. Warranties
Panels, inverters and batteries carry the manufacturer's product and performance warranties as listed on your quote. Our workmanship warranty covers installation, mounting and electrical work. Warranties exclude damage from storms, fauna, third-party work, unauthorised modification or lack of reasonable maintenance.
7. Cancellation and changes
You may cancel within the cooling-off period stated on your contract for a full refund of your deposit. After equipment has been ordered or scheduled, reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted. Requests to change system size or components will be re-quoted.
8. Monitoring and data
Where monitoring is included, system performance data is transmitted to the manufacturer's platform and to us for support purposes. Availability of monitoring apps and portals is controlled by the manufacturer.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. As an NETCC Approved Seller we also comply with the New Energy Tech Consumer Code.
